Description 

When a person uses a story, phrase, joke, or piece of information they heard from another friend in a previous conversation, but does not acknowledge the first person who said it, implying that they were the originators of it. “She's totally guilty of social plagiarism. She told my story of how I lost my virginity to one of my friends and tried to pretend it was hers. I mean, who does that?”
